I am Richard Ngombe Yumba, a Congolese artist whose work blends bold colors, realism, and abstraction into what I call Afro-Fauvism. My art is deeply connected to themes of identity, freedom, resilience, and beauty, telling stories that are too often left unheard.

I paint with the colors of my heritage and the vision of a world where every story matters. My inspiration comes from people — mothers providing for their children, youth standing strong in the face of challenges, and cultural icons whose voices shaped entire generations. Each painting is a reflection of memory, culture, and hope.

Through my work, I aim to:

  • Celebrate the power of identity
  • Raise awareness about social justice
  • Share the strength and joy of human resilience

Every brushstroke is more than color — it is storytelling, emotion, and vision. My goal is to create art that makes people see, feel, and reflect, while carrying a message of hope and transformation.
